'What I love most about rivers is you can't step in the same river twice.
The water's always changing, always flowing
But people I guess can't live like that
They all must pay a price
To be safe we lose our chance of ever knowing
What's around the river bend
Waiting just around the river bend
I look once more just around the river bend
Beyond the shore where the gulls fly free
Don't know what for
What I dream the day might send just around the river bend
For me, coming for me
I feel it their beyond those trees
Or right behind these waterfalls
Can I ignore that sound of distant drumming?
For a handsome sturdy husband who builds handsome sturdy walls
And never dreams that something might be coming
Do you still wait for me, dream-giver, just around the river bend?

Confessions.
I listen Disney Soundtracks to free my mind and drain out thought to when I am running all over the busy streets of Paris.
Recently, I have found the most perfect run to the Eiffel tower along the Seinne River.
8 miles.
Oh boy, the day some one ever stops and asks me what I am listening to during my runs and finds out its Disney
...oh the day.
Remember in the 90's when Disney was real quality?

Birdy - Young Blood
We're all young and naive still
We require certain skill
The motive changes like the wind
Hard to control when it begins
The bittersweet between my teeth
Trying to find the in-between
Fall back in love eventually
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Can't help myself but count the flaws
Claw my way out through these walls
One temporary escape
Feel it start to permeate
We lie beneath the stars at night
Our hands gripping each other tight
You keep my secrets hope to die
Promises, swear them to the sky
We require certain skill
The motive changes like the wind
Hard to control when it begins
The bittersweet between my teeth

I heard a very interesting fact in one of my classes day on the subject of language and perception. In the English language, when we talk about time, we look forward to the future and look back at the past. We face towards the future in our horizontal language. But in many other languages, when referring to time, the past is looked at face forward since we already know the past while our backs are turned to the future because it is still unknown. Just something that I found very intriguing.
