Organic. Pure. Free.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods;
There is a rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more...

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen. Not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

I'll be wearing white.

Sometimes the good lyrics of a song can change my entire day.

Thought-o-day: be thankful for everything I have right now at this point in life.

Restore Tour New Zealand 2011

After months of planning, deliberation, prayer dancing and many hours of sleep deprivation, Emily Skye has finally brought Restore Tour: Child Soldier No More to the island of Waiheke, New Zealand.

Restore Tour: Child Soldier No More

As many of you guys know, Emily and I met whilst living in the land of Africa known as Uganda.   Emily and her New Zealand Team and I met when they came to the orphanage I've been working with over the summer with the organization called Watoto. Thats when the hearts for Africa collided.  To sum up a long story: I moved over the the island-o-dreams to work under the wing of Emily. Small world, Big connections :)  For the time of me being here, Emily has been working on getting the children from Uganda over to the island so that the village of Waiheke can meet, see, and personally hear the stories of the children that they have proudly been sponsoring ever since Emily has Founded the

After Months of organizing: The Children came. The Children went. But their stories that they left behind have forever changed the hearts of those who have heard it.

Day of the concert, nothing but blue and beautiful clouds to greet ze day!

check out them cumulous :)

such a good head count turn out!

Once again, Em's getting interviewed for the hundredth time. Magazines, Newspapers, and News Media all spreading the good word of the Children's Stories.

Cheers to Emily and her Faith that got the Village project to where its at today and that brought the Children to a home away from their home.
Major thumbs up!

The entire show was awesome and heart changing.  But my favorite beyond favorite part, was when the children were doing their studies in ttheir room and Emily and I snuck in to just sit, talk, hold and listen to them. To see them and reminisce in the Africa days from two years ago was something I sincerely needed. Thanks em.

First Love

Thoughts of TODAY:

I'm going to move to shabby beach house on the coast to live a life something similar to this.
There I will be able to learn to surf better and be one amongst the nature that the Good Lord speaks to me through.I cant imagine anything better in this moment. :)

Earthquakes and Tsunamis

Its times like these, when the world feels as if its falling apart, that I wish i can be in the arms of loving family and familiar faces.

This is what it means to live in a country thousands of miles away from home.
I've been so comfortable and so spoiled by California's perfect weather, that when reality hits, my heart cant help but beat out of its chest, and my head wont stop overanalyzing the situation.
I miss home.
I'm praying for those who have lost theres.
ChristChurch and Japan.
I can't even fathom the devastation and loss.
times like these we all need to step up a bit further and lend a helping hand.

N.Zealand issues tsunami warning after Japan quake

AFPMarch 11, 2011, 8:29 pm
WELLINGTON, March 11, 2011 (AFP) - - New Zealand civil defence officials issued a tsunami warning for the country on Friday and warned people to stay clear of beaches following a massive earthquake in Japan.
"A tsunami marine warning is in effect for New Zealand," New Zealand Civil Defence said in a bulletin, adding that no threat to land was expected when the tsunami arrives at around 6:23am (1723 GMT).
"Historical events and pre-calculated tsunami models indicate that the largest effects (less than one metre wave height at the coastline) is expected along the coasts of the central and northern North Island," it said.
The agency said a marine tsunami threat meant that "strong and unusual" currents were possible in the sea, river mouths and estuaries and that unusual waves may be sighted at beaches.
Residents of coastal areas were warned to stay off beaches and out of the water as the waves generated by the 8.9 quake in Japan approached.
New Zealand was itself hit by a deadly earthquake just over two weeks ago when a 6.3 magnitude quake devastated its second city Christchurch, killing more than 200 people.
Prime Minister John Key said he watched "in horror" the scenes thrown up by the quake and tsunami and said New Zealanders' thoughts were with the victims in Japan, which sent rescue teams to Christchurch to help recover bodies.
"Our hearts go out to the Japanese government and its people," he said, extending sympathy to those who have been caught up in "this most terrible event".
"Japan responded to New Zealand's own tragic earthquake with enormous support, and we are ready to help our friends in Japan at this time of need in whatever way we can."
